Today we learnt about Google forms and Google sheets. Created a survey for the Field Trip students next week, which I will use as my survey form for my appraisal. As I am in many classes have to take every opportunity to use what I've learnt in the classes I go into. I will be creating a Google form for the teachers of the classes I have been working with also.
As mentioned above can now create google forms for my classes and staff as necessary.
What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
We also learnt about google sheets and handling data. See table re blog posts for a students blog. Could certainly use this in analysing data collected from students.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?
In my role as DP often analysing data and need to send out surveys. Excellent tools today.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed today learning these things too. It is a bit of a mindset to avoid the embed action for me with the code! I too can see great use for the forms to gather student voice and data to inform and improve practice!

Using the apps we covered on our dealing with data session, what learning opportunities could you imagine students using to create something from their farm visit? Their reflection and evidence would make an ideal blog post too. I'm looking forward to seeing where you might take this.
